A public open house regarding the future design of Douglas Avenue improvements is schedule for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Century II Mary Jane Teall Theater, 225 W. Douglas.
An initiative of the Project Downtown master plan, the open house will address a range of transit and transportation options for the Douglas Avenue corridor in downtown. Participants will provide interactive feedback on various options through electronic keypad polling.
The open house is being sponsored by the City of Wichita, the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Wichita Downtown Development Corp. and is led by Design Workshop, a Denver-based landscape architecture and urban design firm.
