Old Cowtown Museum and the Mid-America All-Indian Center officials invite the public to celebrate the holidays with the following family events.

Victorian Christmas Celebration
6-9 pm, Friday-Saturday and Dec. 9-10
Admission: $7.75 for adults, $6 for children and free for children under 4 and museum members

During Victorian Christmas, Cowtown’s streets will be trimmed with Christmas greenery and filled with carolers. Visitors can enjoy cocoa and cookies while touring the grounds and learning about past holiday traditions. Other activities include photos with Santa, children's crafts, re-enactment of "Twas the Night Before Christmas," dancing by the Dixie Lee Saloon Girls, food, gifts, holiday décor for sale and much more. Catered Christmas dinner will be served Dec. 9 and Dec. 10 only. A Christmas dinner ticket, which includes admission to Victorian Christmas, is $26.95 for adults and $14.95 for children. Member discounts are available. Dinner reservations are required in advance by calling 316-350-3323. Cowtown is located at 1865 W. Museum Blvd.

Holiday Open House
10 am - 4 pm, Saturday
Free and open to the public

The Holiday Open House is a great opportunity for the public to visit the Indian Center and find unique holiday gifts. A 20 percent discount will be offered on all items purchased during the Open House and museum admission will be $1 (savings of $6). Visitors will find authentic American Indian-made jewelry, Christmas music, cards, DVDs, shawls, children's items, keepsakes and more in the Gift Shop. Guests may also register for prizes, watch artist demonstrations and meet the artists. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 316-350-3340. The Indian Center is located at 650 N.
