Severe Weather Safety Class in Oaklawn Canceled

The April 19 severe weather safety class in Oaklawn has been canceled. Residents in the area affected by the tornado are encouraged to attend the town hall meeting at 6 p.m. April 19 at the Oaklawn Activity Center, 4904 S. Clifton.

One topic of the severe weather safety classes offered by Sedgwick County focuses on planning and preparing for severe weather and all emergencies. No matter what the event, residents can take steps now to prepare for any type of emergency.
