Two Hollywood writers to lead session at CityArts
Wichitans will have the rare opportunity to get story-crafting tips from two working Hollywood writers during a “Screenwriting Workshop for Television & Film” from noon-4 p.m., on Saturday at CityArts. The session will be led by Adam and Barbara Fox. The pair currently live in Hollywood and are developing a 26-part animated children’s TV series and a movie. The cost of the workshop is $35, and it can be paid by check or cash the day of the event. Pre-registration is not necessary.
Drawing from 25 years of experience as professional writers, directors and producers, Adam and Barbara will share simple, easy-to-follow writing techniques that can be applied to any story, from a 10-minute episode to a two-hour screenplay. Participants will learn how to structure, write and craft a compelling script.
