Program open to youth, young adults ages 6-21

CityArts is currently accepting scholarship applications for its fall art classes and workshops. Anyone between the ages of 6-21 may apply. Applications forms are available online at or at CityArts, 334 N. Main. CityArts scholarships are sponsored by The Arts Council, a local nonprofit organization that works with the City of Wichita to promote the visibility of all cultural arts in the community.

CityArts’ fall session extends through the end of the year, offering a wide range of creative experiences in the visual arts to people of all ages. The Arts Council established the scholarship program to give youth and young adults from diverse social and economic backgrounds an opportunity to attend art classes at CityArts. Funding is awarded based on availability.

For more information about the program, contact Kay Blair, CityArts executive director, at 316-350-3240 or by e-mail at
