CityArts giving artists chance to create its 2014 T-shirt
CityArts has launched a new T-Shirt Design Contest to find creative and fun artwork for its official 2014 T-shirt. The contest is open to all ages, and youth entries are encouraged. Artists may submit up to two original designs using CityArts’ art classes and exhibition galleries as their inspiration. The winner's artwork will appear on T-shirts given to CityArts students and/or sold in CityArts' Gift Boutique in 2014.
“We created the T-Shirt Design Contest as a way to generate excitement about CityArts and everything we do here,” said Liz Daniel, CityArts youth education director. “There is so much creativity in this community that we’re looking forward to seeing CityArts through other artists’ eyes.”
Interested artists have plenty of time to create the perfect design. The deadline for entries is Feb. 14, 2014. All entries must be submitted by
e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
and include the contestant’s full name and phone number. The designs should be suitable for the front of black
