Media Advisory: Letters to Santa

Contact: Angela Cato, Arts & Cultural Services |
City of Wichita staff will be at Starkey, Inc. at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Dec. 18, to announce results of this year’s Letters to Santa Project as well as introduce media to the “elves” who are making sure every child gets a response from Santa Claus. Starkey is located at 4500 W. Maple.
The Letters to Santa Project is sponsored by the City of Wichita, Starkey, Inc. and Cambridge Market. Letters were dropped off by area children ages 12 and under from Nov. 18 through Dec. 10 at the Century II Performing Arts and Convention Center, CityArts, the Mid-America All-Indian Center, Old Cowtown Museum, Starkey Inc. and Cambridge Market.
The Letters to Santa project is a way for the City of Wichita and its partners to spread holiday cheer. The initiative is now in its fourth year.
