City of Wichita officials have launched an enhanced water conservation rebate program, which provides up to $450,000 in incentives for all active water customers. The application, instructions and a detailed list of qualifying items are available at www.wichita.gov and www.savewichitawater.com.
Eligible items include devices or appliances purchased between Jan. 1, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2014. Rebates will be offered until the $450,000 budget is exhausted, on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of five rebated items for each water customer.
