Discussion of the Proposed Sales Tax Increase
Council Member Pete Meitzner will hold a District II Breakfast scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at The Regent Senior Living Facility, 2050 N. Webb Road.
The breakfast will feature a presentation and discussion regarding the upcoming 1% sales tax vote in November. There will be a representative presenting on both sides of the ballot question – Jon Rolph with “YesWichita,” supporting the sales tax; and Jennifer Baysinger with the “Coalition for a Better Wichita,” opposing the sales tax.
