The City of Wichita has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the sale property located at Douglas and Hillside, commonly referred to as Parkstone.
RFPs are being mailed to local developers and brokers. The sale provides a new opportunity to develop the vacant property. The RFP is available online at Wichita.gov/RFQ
The Property was originally part of the College Hill Urban Village Project to redevelop the area at Douglas and Hillside. The plan was to clean up a blighted area by removing structures and creating a mix-use development, including brownstones and a condominium tower. The City decided earlier this year to remarket the property and find a new developer to develop the remaining property and activate the area. The property consists of two parcels totaling approximately 4.6 acres.
