In observance of Independence Day on Monday, July 4, the following City of Wichita facilities and operations will be closed: City Hall, Neighborhood Resource Centers, Wichita Public Library locations, Animal Shelter, Park & Recreation Centers, Great Plains Nature Center, Old Cowtown Museum, Mid-America All-Indian Center, Century II administrative offices, Transit administrative offices, Wichita Art Museum, CityArts, and Botanica Gardens.
Wichita Transit bus service and Paratransit service will not operate on Monday.
OJ Watson Park will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday. Rides close at 7 p.m. No fireworks allowed. Riverside Tennis Center and municipal golf courses are open regular hours on Monday.
