GolfBoards - surf-inspired, motorized golf vehicles – are now available at Tex Consolver Golf Course. The four-wheel drive board allows users to turn by simply transferring their body weight in a carving motion akin to snowboarding or surfing. It’s an easy-to-ride, electric-powered, 4-wheel-drive board that adds fun and excitement for golfers.
“It’s changing the way golfers experience the game,” Golf Manager Troy Hendricks said. “It leaves a minimal footprint and speeds up pace of play. As we continue to look into replacing our current cart fleet, we believe Millennial and Generation X players will be interested in utilizing GolfBoards.”
Located at 1931 S. Tyler, Tex Consolver will be the site for GolfBoard demonstrations for six weeks, starting Saturday. Reserve your GolfBoard at Tex Consolver today by calling (316) 337-9494. First time users please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to tee time for check-in and training.
Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, GolfBoards are ultra-durable and built with a safety-first and user-friendly function to provide golfers a more active and engaging alternative to riding in a cart. Early adopters of GolfBoard have seen an increase in rounds played, revenue growth and an improvement in pace of play. Advanced technology allows GolfBoarders to customize board settings and configurations to their riding preferences including adjusting speed settings from six to 10 mile per hour, via a simple, one-touch switch.
