Following is information on three upcoming holiday events:
- The Mayor’s Tree Lighting is scheduled to begin 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, at Kennedy Plaza at Century II Performing Arts & Conventions Center in downtown Wichita. The tree lighting will start at 5:30 p.m.
- Following the Mayor’s tree lighting, the Lights on the River fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Sunday at the downtown Wichita Boathouse. Other activities including a lantern launch are planned.
- On Thursday, Dec. 8, A Night with Santa will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. inside Expo Hall at Century II. Activities include games, photos with Santa and other events.
