The Metropolitan Area Planning Department has identified that updates are needed for the Delano Neighborhood Revitalization Plan. A related community engagement session is scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 in the MAPC Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the Ronald Reagan Building, 271 W. Third Street.
The department is working with the Wichita Downtown Development Corp. and a group of landscape architecture students from Kansas State University. The students are embarking on a "Downtown Riverfront Visioning Studio," addressing the historic Delano Neighborhood.
Interested residents are invited to participate in the interactive engagement session designed to collect input from the community.
