The Wichita Parks Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, will host the fourth annual Red, White & BOOM presented by Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. downtown on the KSN Lawn (Hyatt Lawn).
“We’re pleased with how the community has embraced the July 4 fireworks display as a beloved Wichita tradition,” said Brent Thomas, President, Wichita Parks Foundation. “Together with Freddy’s and our other community partners, we’re excited to host an evening of great food trucks, live music and the city’s largest Fourth of July fireworks show.”
The evening will start with a variety of food trucks and beer garden. The band, The Astronauts, will take the stage at 7 p.m. Talent from KSN Channel 3 and Entercom Radio, will emcee the evening events. The public viewing of the free fireworks display can best be seen from the KSN Lawn, where there will be open seating as well as the east bank bike path between the Lewis and Douglas Street bridges. There will also be a Watch Zone located on the Lewis Street Bridge with bleachers overlooking the river. Music accompanying the show can be heard throughout the lawn area or tune into 103.7 KEYN to listen to the live broadcast of the fireworks show.

Fireworks will start at 9:45 p.m. and will last 23 minutes.
