City Asks Input on Parking and Multi-Modal Plan Survey

Contact: Scott Wadle, Transit |

City of Wichita officials are asking residents to share their experiences about traveling throughout Wichita by participating in the Parking and Multi-Modal Plan online survey. Participants will have an opportunity to provide input about:

  • Where and why they visit certain areas;
  • How they rate the parking and getting around select areas;
  • Where parking and mobility challenges exist throughout Wichita;
  • Their impression of multi-modal options in downtown.

While the survey is a chance for everyone to provide input with opportunities for people to comment on parking throughout Wichita, the focus of the survey is on downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. The information collected through the survey will help inform the development of the Wichita Parking and Multi-Modal Plan.

"We are excited to hear from as many people as possible – whether they live or work in Wichita or visit occasionally," said Scott Wadle, Senior Management Analyst for the City. "We want to make sure the plan meets the needs of our community today and into the future."

The survey should only take a few minutes and can be found by following the link below

Public meetings also will be scheduled in November. Times and dates will be posted on the project website. More information about the planning process is available on the Wichita parking webpage
