Registration for Wichita Park & Recreation Winter Activities is now open.
Residents of all ages are invited to register for any of the more than 400 classes offered in the arts, special interest subjects, camps, fitness, athletics, computer workshops and more. These activities encourage and provide opportunity for exercise, social interaction and learning for all involved. For a more detailed look at what classes are available, visit wichita.gov/parkandrec to view the Winter Activities Guide. Physical copies of the guide will be available beginning December 16 at the Recreation Centers, City Hall, 455 N. Main or the Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd St N.
Featured on the cover of the Winter Guide is the new rock wall located at the Lynette Woodard Recreation Center at 2750 E. 18th St N. Kids can enjoy using the wall in the new Jr. Climbers classes and as part of the Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course beginning in January.
Come Spring 2020, look forward to “Evolve” - the new joint Activities Guide which will include City Arts, the Wichita Public Library and Wichita Park & Recreation.
