Join
the Wichita Art Museum for a day when local artists transform 300-pound blocks
of ice into “cool” creations. This free, Family ArtVenture includes Lamphouse
Photo Booth, Fun Faces with Ashley face-painting, DJ Carbon, and ice-themed,
family-friendly films along with artmaking. Food trucks will be on site
including: Espresso Self, Funky Monkey Munchies and Wheat Street Dogs.
Remember
to dress for the outdoors as “Ice-Tacular” takes place both inside and outside
the museum.

Chamberlain, Karen Cox, Marc Durfee, Brady Hatter, Garet Reynek, and the
artist team of Brenda Lichman and Crew: Ted Adler, Denise DeBusk, and James
Porter.

Parking:
In
addition to WAM’s parking lot, visitors are encouraged to park across Museum
Blvd. in the public parking lot southeast of the museum.
Accessing the museum: Due to renovation, the museum’s temporary entrance is located on the
east side of the building. Look for the tall Tom Otterness sculpture “Dreamers
Awake” near the entry doors.
