Wichita, Kan. (January 7, 2022) – ASM Global, the premier venue management and services company, has hired John Hale as Assistant General Manager / Director of Operations of Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center located in Wichita. Hale will become the first Assistant General Manager for the performing arts & convention center under ASM Global Management and will begin his new role later this month.
As Assistant General Manager / Director of Operations, Hale will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Operations and Events departments and will be responsible for the daily activities required to operate, maintain and service the facility and events. Hale will also help facilitate optimum efficiency for the facility while striving to maximize profits and provide exception customer service to clients and events.

Hale is intimately familiar with Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center, having served as the Facility's Technical Director from 2001-2006 and the Operations Manager / Technical Director from 2011-2020. Most recently, Hale held the position of Director of Engineering for Hyatt Regency Wichita.
