The Division of Arts and Cultural Services is now accepting applications for FY2023 grant funding. Cultural Funding Grants are awarded through a competitive process in three categories: Operating Grants, Developing Arts Grants and Artist Access Grants. The City of Wichita partners with The Arts Council’s Cultural Funding Committee to coordinate the application and selection process in order to ensure the most qualified recipients are chosen each year. Applications will be accepted through June 3.
“We are especially excited to launch the 2023 grant applications and have made several clerical adjustments this year in order to better serve prospective applicants and make the application process easier for all." said Lindsay Benacka, Director of Arts and Cultural Services. "We are also encouraging applicants to join the information sessions to better learn about each funding opportunity and how to create a competitive application.”

Operating Grants
- Virtual: March 15 at 10 a.m.
- In person: March 16 at 2 p.m.
Artist Access Grants
- Virtual: March 22 at 10 a.m.
- In person: March 23 at 2 p.m.
Developing Artists Grants
- Virtual: March 24 at 10 a.m.
- In person: March 25 at 10 a.m.
