From high noon through 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, the public is invited to celebrate the Season Launch at Old Cowtown Museum, 1865 W. Museum Blvd. During this free and festive afternoon welcome back party, visitors may preview the museum’s upcoming events while enjoying all the living history Cowtown has to offer.

Catch a show by Daisy Longstem's Saloon Girls, watch the Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Club play, and catch a gunfight by the Cowtown Cowboys or River City Renegades. Vendors will be onsite selling their wares, including Blue Grizz Trading and The Missing Link. Learn more about volunteer and membership opportunities at Cowtown, including how to support specific legacy projects like the Carriage Works exhibit.

The traveling exhibit “Encountering John Brown” will also be available to visitors during the Season Launch.

Admission to Old Cowtown is free on Sundays, thanks to a generous donation from Colby Sandlian. Regular museum admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $7 for youth, $6 children aged 5-11, and children four and under get in free. Cowtown members receive free admission.
