Decorative Fountain
This lighted decorative water fountain was built in 1934 and dedicated in memory of Benjamin Franklin McLean.

Benjamin Franklin McLean(1858-1930)
Wichita businessman who served as 14th and 27th Mayor of Wichita.
McLean Boulevard and McLean Science & Technology Magnet Elementary School are named in his honor.
Chisholm Trail Historical Marker
This small historical marker marks the location of the Chisholm Trail which once ran through Wichita in 1865-1874.
Hundreds of thousands of freight left Wichita and over 3,000,000 head of stock arrived over this route in the years of its use.
