Constructed under the Model Cities Program, this park is located adjacent to the Atwater Neighborhood Resource Center and provides an indoor hardwood athletic gym floor and outdoor activity courts for community use.

The park was deeded to the Board of Park Commissioners in 1980 and renamed in 1984 to honor Olympic basketball star Lynette Woodard.

    All parks are closed between 12 midnight and 6:00 am unless otherwise posted.

    City Ordinance
    Unless otherwise posted, or as provided for in this chapter, the use of all park property and recreation facilities is prohibited, without a permit, from the hours of midnight to 6:00 a.m.
