Celebrate Independence Day with a bang!
Join the Wichita Parks Foundation and Wichita Park & Recreation for one of the best display of fireworks this July 4th! Get ready for Red, White & BOOM! in downtown Wichita! This is the 7th annual Red, White & BOOM! event presented by Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
Fireworks will be launched east of Riverfront Stadium at 9:40pm.
However, if the Wind Surge game is still being played at that time, the show will begin ten minutes after the completion of the game. Spectators will enjoy a 20-minute firework show as it lights up the sky over the Arkansas River. The best view to watch this awesome show will be from the Hyatt Lawn located off Waterman Street.
Food trucks will be set up just south of the Hyatt Lawn starting at 7pm, so come early to grab a good spot for the showing and enjoy great food while you are waiting. Food trucks that will be onsite are Kona Ice, Smokin' Diner and Hot-2-Trot Gourmet Dogs.
Wichita Wind Surge are playing at home!
Watch our professional baseball team the Wichita Wind Surge play the Amarillo Sod Poodles at Riverfront Stadium. The game starts at 6:35pm. Purchase tickets online or at Riverfront Stadium box office located on the east side of the stadium on McLean. Those inside the stadium will have a great view of the fireworks show!
