Step 2 - Aptitude Test

On your scheduled date, go to Workforce Alliance Center, 2021 N. Amidon (New Leaf Plaza). The Aptitude Test starts promptly at 8:00 am.

Step 3 - Physical Fitness Test

Candidates who pass the initial background check will be contacted by a member of the pre-employment section to discuss the next stage of the process, the physical fitness test. Download the physical fitness packet and have it signed by a licensed medical professional, physician, chiropractor, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant. This form must be signed by one of the listed titles before you will be allowed to participate in the test. To expedite your process, this should be done when you submit the First Contact Questionnaire.

You and your assigned Pre-Employment Detective will review your First Contact Questionnaire packet, which you should have completed under Step #3.

Step 5 - Oral Interview Board

A member of the pre-employment section will schedule your oral interview board. After successful completion of the oral interview board you will be placed on an eligibility list.

Veteran's Preference

If you are interested in receiving Veteran's Preference, you must submit your DD 214 during your first contact interview at the Training Center.
